Say the Allsvenskan trophy was handed out every two years

Say the Allsvenskan trophy was handed out every two years instead of every one.
Over the last 60 games Hammarby have taken more points than anyone. Best underlying numbers too, and not by a little.
In the real calendar they've won nothing.
So, should they change something? We'd argue the opposite.
Two years on top is two years on top. It doesn't matter whether the points came in one hot autumn or were spread evenly across four half-seasons. A title gets decided over 30 rounds, and 30 rounds is short enough that a good two months can settle it.
Very few clubs get here. And when they do, this is usually the moment the board decides the plan isn't working. New squad, new staff, and whatever was working underneath goes out the door with everything else.
Being good for 30 rounds is a team. Being the best over 60 is a club, and you can't sign one of those in a transfer window.
We don't build teams. We build clubs.
PS. Our xPoints model is a banger.
